Very nice diorama.    I like the way that a slice of tree truck was utilised for the base.

This can really be described as 'weathering' as most modellers refer to wear and tear as weathering.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

I Forgot..what scale is this scene?A couple of the things that pop out, with the exception of the truck,of course, are that white plastic chair, and the shopping cart? They look so real, and dirty, kind of like the ones i had as kitchen chairs when i moved into my first apartment.🤣🤷‍♂️I mean they were clean.Anyway,i don’t know if you said, but where did you find that chair, and the shopping cart,if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks.

Apology for the late reply. The chair I got from Mathos models. Type the name in Google. The shopping cart is from Royal Model: https://www.royalmodel.eu/en/accessories-for-dioramas/563-shopping-cart-135.html

Don't know why I missed this one, Charles - outstanding weathering again which is your trademark anyway.

What impresses me most here is the crumpled and smashed glass of the rear door, almost falling out of its frame - how did you replicate that?

A big thank you. Glad you liked the results. The crumbled glass effect was easy. The trick is to use Protective glass, used for mobil phones. Its the perfect material to use to get the effect. It's tampered, so it holds its shape. Hope this helps.

Such a nice diorama! and congrats to the publication in Wheels! I knew the other day when viewing this thread that it was familiar but it was today i realised from where :D

Wheels???? Really?? Are you saying there are photos of my models in wheels magazine? May I ask which edition and which models? If you mention Wheels, than you must be Swedish or speak the language. :)

That Landrover is superbly done! One of my father's neighbors had a Landrover like that next to his house for well over 25 years. It looked almost EXACTLY like that with the same amount of decay and debris. If you took away the trees, added a house on the passengers side and pretty much had the rest the same, it would be his neighbor's wreck! WELL done. Sadly, the guy passed and the family was finally able to haul it away about 2 years ago.
