Hi My name is Lou Carabott .... I am 75 years old and have been scale modelling since I was 12 years old without any let up.....I'm married have 2 boys and a grandfather of 3 adorable kids ...... I come from the island of Malta....used to be a shipbuilder but now I'm hooked to Modelling cars ....I have a modelling blog on Face Book......scale modelling with Lou Carabott

I build cars everything  everything from 1/24 to 1/12 scale....The part I enjoy most is the engine ...

Here is a model of mine which I finished a few years back and it was my first large scale car model.....Bentley Blower 4.4 litre 1930....It's an Airfix old kit  which needed a lot of work ...wheels hand laced

wooden flooring ...and scratch building a few things my self ...Hope you like it

Regards

Louis Carabott

Welcome Louis,  seriously nice build on that Bentley.  You will have a nice home here.  I am like you, 75 and built continously since I was 8-9.  Got hooked on cars at 14 and haven't stopped since.

Bienvenue Louis. I caught up with your new postings, the Fiat Mefistofoles, Ford GT 40, the w.i.p. on the Rolls Phantom. This is all extraordinary work.

I hope you will share a lot from your build process (in the w.i.p. sections).

Wonderful to have you on board sir!
