espo Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Looking at the grill details my guess is '49-year model Fords.
Chuckyg1 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Or 50, 51'shad the double spinners. I see a woody towards the back.
StevenGuthmiller Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 In any case, this looks like a barge and tug boat situation, telling me that it was probably the movement of new Fords from plants in the northeast, possibly down the Mississippi, (or some other river) on their way to some southern port. slusher Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 That is pretty neat and I never knew about ths. Thanks for sharing.. 1
Danno Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 It will only require 15 dozen AMT 49 Ford kits to build that diorama. 1
Smitty Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Look at all those beautiful shoebox Fords! One of my all-time favourite classic cars. In fact, if I could have but one classic car in my garage, it would be a ‘49 to ‘51 Ford. It appears there are 160 of them if that barge was full!
