looks like I can give the old wallet a rest for model and diecast stuff this month. That Mr. Norms Demon in 1/18 caught my eye a little bit though.

I see two kits to get Green hornet and the '70 Dodge challenger with new part rear Go wing  just wish Round2 would do a real hard top Dodge challenger

Rest easy Wallet, there is no fight here.

And I sure do hope people step up and buy that Hornet thing. You clamored for it, now you have it. So buy it!

Nothing like that at my local HL.  Must be a regional thing.

Everybody everywhere says theirs does it. Yours would be the only one I ever heard of that doesn't do it. The weekly ad is for all stores (that I know of) and shows the sale every other week.

Okay, thanks.  I visit the store and see what I can find out.

Another month goes by and…. No 71/72 Road Runner… *sigh*

BTW, I wonder if those 1/25 scale kits for October are re-releases or clones…

Reissues, except for the Green Hornet, which is an all new tool.

What is so wrong with the Barracuda kit?

Expand

A few minor things for strictly OOB build-ups :
- Incorrect engine compartment
- Hodgepodge of 1967-1968-1969 tail lamp /valance
- Incorrect, F-250-style 6-lug wheels as the option (thankfully, a nice set of period correct rims were added to the c.2015 ad seq. issues)

The kit's good attributes outweigh any of its shortcomings :
- Rare-in-1:1 "Recall" (W27) rims
- Hurst Dual Gate consolette & shifter (in spite of the kit's having a 4-speed. This is an artifact of the kits' original issues which included a 225 six/ 904 'standard', and a 426 Race Hemi / 727 as the option)
- The only game in town for a '67-'69 Barracuda (though I'm keen on the hardtop and convertible styles those years more so than the fast back)
- Presents nicely as an OOB 'shelf candy' kit.
