Hello everyone, now the time has come.

After a long search, I have found a suitable kit to realize the Hoonitruck.

The kit, of which again only a few parts are used.

The hood is already marked. The outer pieces will go to the body and the middle part will be for opening.

Then I already made a rear side part to the right length.

That was the beginning, a lot will be done by 3D printing. Stay tuned.

Hi guys, today it goes a little bit further.

The body was robbed of the engine compartment, side moldings and lower trim.

The hood side panels are now in place as well.

The rear side panels are now both shrunk to proper length.

Here is a front fender flare.

Then I 3D printed the new front grill.

Which grill do you like better?

Hello everyone, today there is no news, because I first have to create almost all parts on the PC.

Then there is the fact that I can't find anything about the engine and the gearbox anywhere. So technical drawings or similar. Also of the chassis, underbody and suspensions there are not really good pictures.

Will then probably allow the hood and have to improvise with the underbody.

Hello, things are progressing slowly.

Some parts have been created and a few printed.

IMG_20231104_125127_(1300_x_601_pixel).jpg.bdd77755e18c649857757b7030b599c2.jpg

I made a few compromises with the frame. Especially in the middle, where the interior will be printed, because I couldn't find any pictures.

I'm printing the rear frame again, because it printed a few errors in the connection to the front frame.

But things are progressing slowly. I hope you stick with it.

Great work on this so far. Yor cad work on the frame has turned out well.

Not sure if you know but there is a twin turbo ecoboost on cultis3d now. It would be a great start to your project and could be a convincing piece for your build after making the intake and re-locating the turbos.

Looking forward to more updates

Jason

Thank you very much. Would you have a link to the engine on Cults3D?

There are no 3D files for the gearbox either. I haven't even found any pictures of it.

Here is s link to the engine

https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/ford-v6-ecoboost-3-5l-engine-motabas

I'm almost certain he used the same sequential gearbox and tranfercase as the hoonicorn. I had some picures of the bare chassis and some without the body. That may help also. If I can find them ill send them your way.

First of all, many thanks for your help.

The engine on cults3d is not bad. But I got a kit from the Ford GT and will take the engine block from that.

I had the same idea to take the gearbox from the Mustang. I will attach this to the Ecoboost from the GT.

I will print the other parts and adapt them to it as well.

Hello everyone,

I have taken out the interior again. The gearshift and handbrake have been added. The part is quite delicate.

Here with the A-board from a different perspective.

It will continue soon, but it takes a little longer to create these small parts.

Small update.

Since pretty much everything is visible at the rear, I've started to create various things.

I'm not quite sure what these small containers are supposed to be, but it's easy to see.

Close-up of the rear radiator.

Another tank and of course the tank filler neck with the corresponding cap.

Thank you very much.

I had no intention of selling these files. It is very hard work to create them and has already taken 2 months. There is no body, no engine and also other parts that can be taken from the kit are not included as 3D files.

My models are all supposed to be unique, but I think they will remain so anyway.

Maybe I will reconsider and offer them for sale on a platform (cgtrader, 3dexport etc.).

I can imagine it have taken its time. I know your feeling. have been doing some files for my 1/16 chevy and also a new turbo settup for LS engines and allot of addons. And its time consuming, even when coming from that line of work. I have sold some files, but taken them down now, but I will likley not sell my latest files but I might give them to fellow builders on the forum.

After a long time, I have something for you again.

First the interior.

IMG_20231216_192404_(1283_x_1300_pixel).jpg.20d8d22632a0effe9297c2a55df053be.jpg

Here are some parts that were created and printed.

In the sorting box.

The partition wall was also redone, as the original one didn't go all the way down and the side screw connections still had to be fitted.

So far from me, now I'm looking forward to your comments
