A scratch build of the finest order using traditional model engineering  techniques.

A bit intrigued with the Bugatti T41 assignment though as Bugatti's Royale was their Type 41 ?

hi noel ,the t41 sport coupe was never built by Bugatti. it was thought up and draw by an artist in Argentina as what he felt the atlantic should have looked like. google it and see what shows up.here is a few pictures it is slowly coming together. the body is on temporarily toe check clearence .next week it will be on permanently.got the pedals and carpet in. i have to drill 3 holes i forgot in the firewall for wires. did the frontend alignment. i hope the body will be on early next week ,than i can finish inside and put on the doors. cant wait to see it all assembled. hope you had a nice memorial day. be back next week

Charlie . Thanks for coming back about the Argentinian's concept artwork that explains the T number. It's always interesting to see concept cars based on classics of the past. Lindbergh did a plastic kit of the Chrysler Atlantic concept car that had old Bugatti styling influences.

Your model is well on the way to completion and it has made very interesting reading following your build.

Model engineering in its truest form, and really looking forward to seeing it when completed.

Catching up on this build after a prolonged absence. The body finishing is so so good and the black & red scheme is such a beautiful classic combo. seeing the body test fit on the chassis, it all integrates together in such a powerful way. An absolute delight for the eyes.

working on finish assembly is slow and kind of scary. i dont want to damage ant thing and its quite difficult. to many parts and to many screws. had to modify the seat bottoms so i had to reupholster them got the doors back on and lined up. door handle and trunk handles are on. realized today i did not make inside window cranks and door handles not a big deal . i am trying to decide how to paint and install the front and rear glass. they are fitted just painting them is up in the air.  andrew you don't need brakes in a car like this , who wants to stop or slow down. thanks for your comment mr. gibbs. hi bob come back anytime. francis always good to hear from you, your engine is awesome. going to miss you for the summer.tim i hope your bicep is properly healing. thanks for your comment rattlecan. pierre your nova is the best,i love it, have a great vacation. waiting for rb to catch up to place another order. thanks everbody, charlie

heiio getting closer to putting the body on for good. decided to remove all the carpet . i did not paint it black on the inside so the red showed  thru the carpet. soaked it in soapy water and all the elmers glue came off. it looks much better  with black under it. made the door handles and window cranks this week and installed them . fitted the doors on . still not sure how  to paint these little windows. would like to get the body in place to finish the brake lines and i little more wiring.
