Just Jim Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 I know not everyone is going to love my reimagined version of this iconic car but here goes. Modifications include a chin spoiler, pulling the bumpers closer to the body front and back and side-to-side. Also lowered it down significantly. As always thanks for looking. 8
espo Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 I like the color combination better than the red car. A lot of sparkle in the paint but it is nice and smooth looking. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Nice job! Made it your own. Great-looking build. 1
karbuildr Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 I like it. Better color, looks much better lowered and the tighter bumpers look great. Very well done. 1
Yeah Nah Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Looks super cool Jim. The show was very popular here in Australia. The Torino's big stripe was emulated at the time on a lot of cars here. Little Datsuns and Corollas getting around with it. They looked ridiculous!

It would have been funny to see the cars your talking about I don’t remember a trend like that here in the US. Sad thing is the 0-60 and top speeds were probably close to the same. The TV car looked cool but by all accounts it was a real dud performance wise. 1
XYHARRY Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Cool, a mix between Starsky and Hutch and Kojak's Buick Regal. Nice stance and custom work on the bumpers. Well done Jim. Cheers, David. ??
ea0863 Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 I think it looks great in gold, and the body mods are very tastefully done. Thank you for posting!
TransAmMike Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Yep, looks good in gold, nice build Jim!!
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 I like it! Stance and colour suits that car a lot better than the original! ?
The German Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Very good work! I like the color... Good choice. I also have this Torino in the display case, but it was built OOB. The decals turned out really well! It's not exactly easy to get these huge rags onto the model. Respect!
