sak Posted November 26, 2023 Author Posted November 26, 2023 Cut the floor-boards frm the "tub", glued the transmission tunnel to the bottom plate and built it up from there with scrap plastic and fillers. Struggling thru the foiling now. Last two sheets I bought are cracking but will need to just accept it and move forward. Ordering rally wheels and hub-caps from fireball.
JollySipper Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 This is looking really nice....... I love this body style of Plymouth! My old man had a '72 340 Road Runner when I was teenage driving age. He let me drive it pretty often, even to my highschool graduation.
sak Posted February 25, 2024 Author Posted February 25, 2024 Wrapped up some projects around the house so can now start alocating more time to my projects. Buffed out the front bonnet just to see finally the color. Interior mostly finished, scratch-built the window cranks and other hardware to give some depth. Dash-board still needs a lil work. 2
thatz4u Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 I'm working on one of these right now.....your's looks great....
espo Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Great looking interior. What color did you use? This looks much like the Tamiya Pearl Lt. Blue I have used on my present '67 Charger build.Â

slusher Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Beautiful work so far especially the interior!
Trendsetta68 Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 Beautiful color choice ... almost reminds me of a lighter shade of Winchester Gray used by Plymouth back in the day. ??
NOBLNG Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 Great work on that interior. I like how you built the pedals.?
sak Posted March 16, 2024 Author Posted March 16, 2024 Got it polished today. Going to buy some canopy glue for the glass tomorow. Decided on fireball steel wheels and hubcaps. Anybody know how well they fit the amt tire packs? 4
Moparman18064 Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Looking really good to this point, watching.
Keef Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 That color is gorgeous!! Can’t wait to see this one done!! ??
Noah H. Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 The finish on the car body is flawless. Nice work.
sak Posted April 1, 2024 Author Posted April 1, 2024 Thanks. Painted wheels and hub-caps and particially assembled it to see how it sits and I am happy with it. Almost at the finish line. 4
redscampi Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 That is by far one of the most realistic builds I've ever seen. Brilliant!
JollySipper Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 That's really, REALLY sharp! Were you thinking of putting any graphics on it?
David G. Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 The painted wheels and dog dish caps look great with the raised whites. The stance is perfect. David G.
