louis Carabott Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Another one from my collection. This is an old Revell kit that I decided to convert to a racer ....Detailed engine firewall and interior added new custom mudguards which I modified from a discarded kit ....modified wheels and hubs, modified chassis Exhaust stacks built from scratch using rolled up soldering wire .....belts ...additonal front lights. Finished it after a pic I've seen of a Mercedes SSK in a Classics Concourse d'Elegance. Finished in Gravity paints and lacquer . Hope you like it....Regards from Malta, Lou 9
KMcc Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Very nice indeed. May I ask what you used to make the leather hood strap? It looks perfectly in scale. Something I need for an upcoming build. Thanks in advance. 1

XYHARRY Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Building a racer from it's road use format is how it's done in a multitude of racing arena's. Well done Lou on your conversion, lots of weight loss on this magnificent build. Cheers, David. ?? 1
