happy grumpy Posted December 12, 2023 Share Posted December 12, 2023 Built 8 years ago , I always liked the 68 better than the 69. Really nice kit I don't remember having any big issues with it. The body is Tamiya blue metallic coated with Krylon clear. After a few years, the clear started to dull. So now I only use either TS13 or Mr. hobby super gloss. It seems to work fine for me. Not my best work but looks fine on the shelve. Having an enclosed glass cabinet helps to preserve the finish. Now on to the Revell boss 351. Pontiac designers had to do something about the 5 mph bumpers, I would think they could have come up with something better looking than what they used. While I'm actually okay with the styling of either the '68 or '69 I'm definitely looking forward to the reissue of this kit next year.
