Modelcitizen
1/43 scale diorama of a Gulf station in the summer of '69. Scratch built structures, made of basswood. The "wall" on the right is plaster of Paris. The cars are AMT kits. The gas pumps, mailbox, newspaper rack, signage, oil cans and such are all scratchbuilt. The figures, from various sources, were modified and re-posed.

TarheelRick
Excellent build, plenty of details to keep the eyes searching. Even down to the "Nixon Now" bumper-sticker on the phone booth, and all in 1/43 scale.

Mike C.
Cool! Reminds me of working at Steve's Avalon Gulf summer '87 '88.
alan barton
Surely if a picture says a thousand words, a 3D scene must say a million? This is a sensational diorama in any scale but when you realise it is only 1/43rd scale, it is tremendous! Cheers Alan
