Looking fantastic.? I also have to say this is one of the few kits that the 'custom' pieces actually work well on the car. Like they were properly thought out rather then just something made up so they could call it a 3in1.

Oh yeah! Get some foil on it! Very, very nice, Jim. Awesome color and we gotta see it in the sun when you're finished ?.  (I live for the "polish-out", it's the best part ?.)

Sorry, the pics didn't turn out but,,,,

I have been working on the interior and have it all in white now.

Haven't decided to go with basic black dash and carpet or go with a darker version of the fuchsia body color. Right now I'm thinking go with the darker fuchsia something like in this pic,,,,

Think the darker Fuchsia with the White interior would look "richer" than the black and white combo.

OK, so, back on this one.

Been working on the interior, Painted the dash and steering wheel in a darker fuchsia and flocked the floor in a matching color I mixed up.

The seats and arm rest are not glues down, just sitting there for the pic. Also, I cleaned up the paint that bled under the masking tape since I took these pics.

I also worked on the inner fenders a bit. Since these have indents like some other older AMT kits, I cut some pieces  of sheet plastic to cover them and puttied them up and will smooth them off.

A couple more pics.

I pretty well finished up the interior.. Hate those molded in seat belts but it would take days to remove them with the pleated seat pattern.

Also did a little work on the grille and tail light inserts. Sprayed the surrounds with some flat metallic grey. simple Testors flat black in the grille and a couple coats of Tamiya clear red on the tail light glass for a deeper look. Foiled the trim and installed the windshield.

Got a chip in the paint , that'll have to be fixed.

Really great looking custom build. I especially like the interior colors against that gorgeous body paint! Tasteful and believable design. Well done. Got to try a can of that color, maybe over a dark blue base to render a grape jelly kind of purple...
