Duddly01
I finally finished the build of my 2018 Mustang Convertible. This is build 5 of our 5 MustangsĀ in our family. Kitbash of Revell snap kit and a Motor Max diecast used for parts as well as a lot of scratch built parts. I have been using 3V coin batteries for my LEDs but this build required an A23 12V battery. if you havenāt seen the WIP thread see it here:Ā Ā Ā

I keep thinking making it easier on myself and not adding the LEDs, but I can't seem to stop myself. Ā 16 hours ago, Sledsel said: Looks great. Love the dash lighting detail. Impressive. Thank you, I can't not have the gauges light up if the headlights and taillights are on, right? This one did take a more powerful battery with the parking and side marker lights needing added.Ā

I used actual J7 2018 Mustang Magnetic Metallic touch up paint. Came very thick and required a lot of thinning to airbrush. Then 2K clear and polished. 6 hours ago, Jim B said: Very nice Mustang. Phildaupho
Very well done. Love the lights. I have enjoyed all the builds of your 5 family Mustangs. Over the years I think my extended family have owned 4 Mustangs and there is still one in the family a 67 turquoise convertible.
