Porsche 911 Turbo CBR 2024

So my Porsche got to the finish line in time for my friend’s 40th birthday tomorrow.
It’s a Fujimi curbside kit modified with a Black Box resin engine that I made a custom turbo setup for based on his setup. I modified the floor pan to look more oem with a spare Tamiya GT2 kit I had, where the transmission also was sourced from.

3d printed wheels, tires and brakes.

Interior is basic but with Tamiya buckets, arm rests(which the curbside lacs) from a Tamiya BMW. I also flocked the floor and back seat to resemble the 1:1 better.

Great looking build. Unique color for a Porsche. Nice touch.

Thanks Dan! I planed on having it solid red but the tamiya Laquer i bought was more like a metalic collor, i like how it looks though. :)

Looks so fine Hope we get to see it in front of the 1:1 version

Thanks Jon! I might get some better pics with the pair later when he brings it out of storage for summer, he has a good camera as well.  his 1:1 is a also a red 911 but a 997, but he always wanted a 1984 911. Hence the gift.

Fantastic build! And a particularly nice job on painting trim work - I know how tough that is on a model like this.

Thanks Emre! There is some masking required! Most interesting was the bumper rubber seal on the top which had to be eyeballed :)
