Not a cop as I recalled, but a gas station attendant (I have no idea what kit he was in). Get out your scale guillotine and swap heads!!! I'll get him in the post as soon as I'm up and about (soon?)...

Ok im back power out 4 days  and wayyy behind on this build! I found the kit ordered a Ford supercharged  s.co.t engine from Iceman Colletions then ordered a 32 4 door sedan resin body from Drag City Casting. now to decide on wheels, paint fenders no fenders? like i said way behind but will get it finished!

Okay, I've finally got mine up on all four wheels!

Had to finished the interior so I could mount the body because I couldn't install the engine until the body (firewall) was permanently attached.

Then I could locate the driveshaft and rear axle.

I'm still going to make door cards.

Still a long way to go, but the basics are getting done!

I've just discovered this thread and have some other projects in the works. Something just "called" to me about a week ago, though, and I ordered the chopped/filled body and stock firewall from Drag City Castings.

All I'm sure of is that it won't be a modern street rod with air suspension, billet nor rubber-band tires...and it won't be a rat rod, either.

These are the rims and the 2 rear tires, front tires are from the parts box as are the knock offs.

Ok, I’m gonna give this a shot, I cleared the bench. This is the start; I’ll post pix when it’s complete.

Wow! Busy thread! Nice to see so many builds going on. 

I'm happy to say that the work on the bottom of the hood sides and body got finished. Has a nice smooth flowing bead off the fender meeting the body now. Also, kind of redid the beltline on the hood to come to a point. I just think it looks better.  These mods on the bottom bead were well worth the effort.  I've also got a little more done on the rear of the car. It was time to build the wheel wells to fit the rear tires I plan on using. 

 

The wheel wells were made deeper using some 0.060 sheet styrene. The pieces were glued in place, filled and finished before the original inner panel was added. To get the new rear fenders to fit, the rear seat needed to lose one pleat on each side. This allowed just enough room for the fenders fit perfectly.

 

Next up, the rear frame section will be cut up to fit the new wheel tubs.

I expressed my intention to build a Tudor back on page 2 of this thread on May 30 and now I have finally got it started. I am extremely impressed with the highly modified Tudors being built on this thread. Mine however will not stray far from the kit except for the replacement and addition of a few parts and some alterations to the interior. It is a tribute to a car I have seen many times and really like. I figure this will be the twenty-third Revell 1/25 '32 Ford I have built so I do have a bit of a formula in that I glue as many of the parts to the frame as possible before painting. I also replace the air bags on the rear axle with rods the same diameter as the holes in the floor so I can adjust the rear stance. The wheels and tires are from the AMT Ala Kart.

The picture of your mock up shows what a timeless design the 32 Tudor is. I mean, there is not a single line wrong on this thing.

nothing like a digital picture to show that you didn't get the stripe on straight..... too late now! Onward to another coat of clear... -RRR

I think that's a nice graphic for the side of the car and really complements the color of the body.

Decided the rear seat needed a retro look:

AMT 1932 Ford Phaeton provided the rolled & pleated bench rear seat...

To make the change... the sedan rear seat had to be removed:

Seems to fit...

Before the change the seat sat too high:

After the change... the retro rear seat seems to fit a bit better"

A little filling to hide the old pleats & the old replaces the new! -KK

Update:

I’ve been working on the interior and rear half of the body. I scribbled out the rear door last night. There is some cleanup to do, but it all looks good. I have the side windows set to be filled with sheet styrene to make my sedan delivery. And I found a Cadillac engine out of the AMT 49 Ford kit to use.

Today was a good day, dropped the sedan off at the muffler shop to get the scavenger pipes installed. New guy was in, not great with a bender but has some great cut and weld skills. 
Just about sone with all the chassis work so it’s time for a cooling system. 
Interior is complete with a wheel from the Revell Custom merc.
