Great use of old parts . that color is really nice , fits it to a T. Merci Mario! You are right: that old 1928 Chrysler kit (AMT, but née MPC) has such realistic "crumpled leather" seats! CT
Zippi Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 That's a good looking 32 Roadster there Claude. That interior looks like real leather. Nice build.

NitroMarty Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 You have accomplished something very difficult here, Claude.... You successfully managed to blend traditional and 21st century rodding queues, beautifully and cohesively. The real thing would be a star at SEMA or the Grand National Roadster Show.

I made the count! My stash contains 99 new (complete) kits, and 60 who have been raided for various parts, that I call "donor" kits. My junkyard of sorts... CT 1

Lately, most high-profile "magazine cars" are of the resto-rod or nostalgia variety. I prefer the more contemporary treatment. I had 1/1 rods back in the 70's, and the archaic design of those pushed me to try to improve things whenever I could. I guess my models reflect that LOL. CT
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 Very nice, up to your usual high standards. That AMT Phantom Vickie kit is a wealth of parts... -RRR
