Nothing too fancy, just quick, little curbside build. It‘s amt‘s 1964 Ford Galaxie kit shaved, lowered and two-toned to represent a mild custom:

Removed the chrome panel between the taillights for a cleaner look nd topped the lenses with chrome bullets:

Usually I don't build curbside kits because I love to show engines but this time I wanted a quick and easy kit for test purposes. Earlier this year I had the idea to cast resin copies of the front wheels and tires from Revell‘s tweedy Pie kit and I wanted to see how they look like under a ‘60s custom cruiser. Imo the test was successful:

Though it‘s a simple curbside kit, I think it can make a really nice boulevard cruiser.

Tanks for having a look! As always, comments are welcome!

Greetings from Cologne, Germany

Nice custom Galaxie there Oliver. I'm currently building this kit myself, and as basic as it is, it details up nicely. Yours looks great with those wheels and tyres and the lowered stance and two tone paint really sets its character. Well done.

Cheers,

David. ??

Beautiful Galaxie, especially like the two-tone paint. Would probably be on the floor of a coliseum at the local ISCA show. Got plans for a full custom with mine using the custom parts from an original issue '64 Galaxie.

I cringe when I see the words "64 Galaxie" and "custom" together. in-my-opinion, you cannot improve on the looks of a '64 Galaxie.

Yours, being a mild custom looks really good. Almost as if it was a Custom series hardtop which wasn't ever built. I really like your build and especially the color combo.

Can‘t wait to see it finished! Nice wheels, I used similar ones on my ‘65 Galaxie...
