XYHARRY Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 G'day all, here is my old Monogram 56 Chevy I built several decades ago and recently dismantled for a quick refresh. I also gave it a lower stance. Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome and appreciated. Cheers, David. ?? Before.... ...after 3
espo Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Great looking stance and the colors still look fresh in this. 1
karbuildr Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Very nice refresh. Looks much better with the lowered stance. 1
STU111 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 That looks so much better sitting nice ‘n low David. I tell ya, that box art takes me back, I remember building that one back in my early teens. ??

TarheelRick Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Very nice rebuild, really like the color combination. However, being an old-school car nut, I liked the rake on the original build. Reminds me of my first car - a '56 150 Sedan with 6 cylinder and three on the tree. Mine was black and white, but I built a set of shackles and raised the rear a couple of inches, that was what we did in the late '60's.

I get where your coming from Ricky, like the 55 Chevy in 'American Graffiti '.
