ModelcarJR Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I finally received my decals from Keith Marks so I could complete this one today. Its painted with Dupli-Color Universal Black on the outside and I used an old can of WalMart Fire Red on the interior. It was a W-30 kit but I deleted the W-30 option. Added plug wires and heater hoses to the engine. The air cleaner is the combination of two different air cleaners from the parts box, The red decals on black were not a kit option so it was nice to get the Keith Marks decals. Thanks for looking! ? 4
Roger U Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 A nice looking clean build. The details and paint are very nice.
Chuckyg1 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Can't go wrong with black on red. Did that on my '72 442 convertible. Nice, tidy engine compartment. The paint looks flawless.

espo Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Great looking paint finish and the red stripes look better with the red interior.
karbuildr Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Outstanding build. I really like this in black with red stripes and interior.
STU111 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 G’day John, very nice Olds you have there. Black and red go so nicely together. Nice detail on the wheels too, I’m building the Revell 71 442 at the moment and I’m not looking forward to detail painting the wheels on it. Hope my 71 turns out as nice as your 69. ??
