XYHARRY Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 I'll bet you had alot of fun doing this one Jon, I know when I add extra detail to my models it makes me very happy. Outstanding work on this beautiful 62 Chevy, well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers, David.?? 1
papajohn97 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Fabulous scale modeling! Really impressed how well you opened the doors and trunk and you were able to get them to look pretty flush with the adjacent body when closed. 1
Hi-Po Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Great looking build and the detailing is outstanding. 1
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Absolutely next level details, well done! and the vette is equally impressive. You nailed the correct details like the clutch linkage, door jambs, hinges, etc. incredible! 1
STU111 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 If there was a scale ignition key, l reckon if you turned it, that 409 would rumble into life, this build is that realistic. Awesome .?? 1

Mark W Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 (edited) When I was 17 I owned a 1962 Impala 327. It was just 10 years old and didn’t look as nice as this. Beautiful job. The lettering on the radiator hose, something I could never do. Care to share the method? Edited November 25, 2024 by Mark W 1

bill-e-boy Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 An excellent build. I know it is not easy to pull off adding all the extra detail convincingly but you have done it - in spades. WELL DONE 1
Zippi Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 That looks really nice. The craftsmanship is second to none. I'm liking this one. 1

Andrew McD Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 As so many have already noted this is one beautifully detailed model. Well done! What did you use for what appears to be the parking brake cable and cable housing? 1

Wire Guitar string, sorry I don't what size, I got them from a friend and he told me you can get them at a music supply for cheap. You can peel the wrap wire off and insert the core wire into a drilled hole, really easy to use. Armored brake lines, speedo cable, e-brakes
