Dan, another good looking 1971 Mopar to add to the other cars planned for your next transport rig to haul them.

Thanks Mike, with buffing out the body I burn through in many places so I had to repaint and clear coat. I had clear coat over the decal on the hood so I taped it off to repaint but it came off after I painted so I’m ordering some new decals for the hood.

Dan, that’s some bad luck but we all have bite us sometimes..  Looks like a beautiful repaint!

I was able to buff the Charger out with out burning through and have new decals on order that will be better than the old ones that came in the kit. I had to do another test fit to see how it going to look.

Too bad about the decals peeling off, I'd be tempted to mask and paint them

It's a fun kit, I enjoyed building one a few years back.

Thanks Jeff I’ve  ordered new decals from Kieth Marks so all will be good and probably better than the kit decals.

I’ve  started on the BMF still have to do the wheel trim.

So a C-body only colour special ordered for a B-body.  Cool stuff, that colour looks great on the Charger.  I imagine that there must have been some ordered like that back in the day, though you would have to have had a good salesman who knew how to do this.

Dang it @Dan......it's been a LONG time. First off, your progress on this Charger is on target with your signature paint work on these Mopars of yours. I'll be following this one ol' buddy.

Secondly, how's things been goin'? Things are still going good here on this end. When are the two shows going on in Houston this year? 

I'll shoot you a phone call this week as it's been too darn long since I've talked to you. We have GOT to catch up.

Thanks Mark, I have the kits for the transporter and a good idea on how I’m  going to build it to fit 8 cars.

Joe it sure has been a long time. Thanks for your comment on the Charger. Things are going good here for me. Our HAMS model show has a new location and date this year it’s going to be at the Stafford Center on Saturday July 12. This is the same location as the model Modelmania show that’s this spring I’m  not sure what the date is. Glad to hear things are going good for you and yes give me a call this week we have a lot to catch up on
