BigBad Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 I Had a couple cans of Tamiya metallic orange spray paint and was wondering what to paint with them... Found it! I already had a daycab LTL, found a large flat roof bunk in a freightliner kit and also had a decent set of spoke wheels so off I went with this Italeri ford kit! Stripes are all paint. Rear tires from Moluminum, rear spoke wheels from Auslowe (and they fit right on the Italeri hubs!) front spokes are from the Italeri accessory kit (they could have been taken off the Autralian truck all the same.) The exhaust stacks are cut from a transistor radio antenna. 13
Rockford Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Very good looking machine, great use of metallic orange too! Well done. What colour have you got lying around now? 1
Jim B Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 The LTL9000 truck is just a beautiful truck, and this one is no exception. Very well done. 1
Jürgen M. Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Nice paint job! With the outdoor background it looks very real! 1
Biggu Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 What a BEAUTY!! I really like the flat top sleeper. WAY nicer than the ‘aerodyne’ style. Super sharp truck ! 1
Pete68 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Great looking Ford. Like the Spoke wheels sets it off. 1
BK9300 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 A beautiful truck in real life and you’ve represented it very well in your build. 1

I love the LTL, one of my favorites for sure, I like that big hood and grille, looks unique and needs no excuse. Designers for this machine were on it! 1

It definitely is! Ford knocked it out of the park. Notice there is no air filter outside and that truck doesn't need it either. 1
