DRIPTROIT 71 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 This is the one piece at a time semi. The cab is from “Too Many Projects,” (3d printed), the chassis is the AMT Road Boss, fuel tanks are from an Ertl IH S Series, interior is from AMT Crew Chief Blazer, the windshield is from the AMT 72 Fleetside, the quarter fenders are from and Ertl Transtar 2, the deck plate is from the Ertl 4070a, the mudflaps are from the AMT Peterbilt 1100 cab, the engine is the 427 from the Baldwin Motion 69 Camaro, the main 5 speed transmission is scratch built along with the 4 speed auxiliary transmission which is also scratch built. The underside of the hood was not cured in the nose, so this one is curbside, although the outside seems to be solid. This is meant to represent a very poor man’s attempt to be an owner operator. 15
Jim B Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Your Chevrolet looks fantastic! Weathering is great. 1
BK9300 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Very well done - the weathering, for sure, is terrific! Great looking build - as hard a working truck as its owner operator. 1
Rockford Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Very realistic and very credible. Excellent job. 1
Old Buckaroo Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 This is an awesome truck, "she may not have much for glamor but shes a hauler". The exhaust pipe is my favorite part as the bracket bolted to the top of the sleeper ! 1
leafsprings Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Great to see another medium-heavy class hauler! I like what you did with it, looks tough, logging its share of long hauls year after year. Mercury sleeper and AC are cool touches. 1
trick my mixer Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 That is a home run. Digging that stack. Awesome. 1
happy grumpy Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Now that's my kind of build, real life, grimy, gritty, dirty and down to earth. Just love it. Excellent weathering. 1
Jürgen M. Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Nice build! Interesting stack! Looks really cooooooool! 1
Pete68 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Great finish putting all the different parts from different kits and Resin to make this truck. Congrats Brian. 1
Biggu Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 The stack was the first thing that caught my eye, that is spot on, I have seen a few just like that and the oil and grime on the drive wheels is perfect.... super cool job, it looks every bit of your vision... well worked but not abused....
catpack68 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Awesome work as always Brian! The weathering is perfect.
PappyD340 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Another outstanding truck build from your bench there Brian, well done!

RoninUtah Posted February 3 Posted February 3 That's one that will get pulled out for further inspection at every weigh station! Awesome weathering, really well done. I love it!
