jjsipes Posted January 5 Posted January 5 My first completion for 2025. Polar Lights Snap kit 1964 Pontiac GTO. Painted Tamiya Light Blue Metallic with Rustoleum Heirloom White interior. AMT Parts Pak Redline tires and mag wheels from Moebius. For a snap kit, this is a pretty nice kit. Builds well and looks great. Just wish the headlights weren't molded in, wish it had separate clear headlight lens. 13
VanGoGo Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Looks great! the torq thrust rims and redline tires are perfect for that goat!
kelson Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Great looking color combo!,the nose in the weeds look is great!.
galaxyg Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Very tidy. Tamiya light blue metallic is one of their best colours - suits so many cars.
karbuildr Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Great looking GTO. I agree, it's a nice kit. I built the pre-painted version and yours looks great in blue with the white interior.
Tim W. SoCal Posted January 6 Posted January 6 BITCHEN' GTO, Jason! As the former owner of a '64 LeMans Convertible (that I SINCERELY wish I never had to let go), your build REALLY floats my boat... GREAT job!
Kah puts Posted January 6 Posted January 6 That was the car we all went ga-gah over when we were kids, and yours in perfect blue is a knock out 👍
espo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Beautiful paint color and finish. The chrome trim is all cleanly done and the chassis detailing makes up for the basic design. The GTO was the car that really launched the Uniroyal Tiger Paws redline tires.
AMT68 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 That is very impressive work. The TS-54 was a great choice and the Heirloom White does a good job of representing a parchment interior. It's funny because until I saw this build I wasn't even aware of the kits existence. Nice looking mold.
jjsipes Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Thank you all for the responses. I really like this Blue color and the Heirloom White looks great for an interior color I think. Thanks again for the comments.
Rattlecan Dan Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Sweet! Very nice-looking GTO. You did a great job. Paint is really nice.
