I’ve only had the snowblower out twice so far. Mostly because it’s just a bit too much to shovel. It’s a bit nippy outside right now and the roads are polished like a skating rink. We have studded tires on the wife’s Jeep so we just have to watch out for the idiots on the road. At least the vehicle stays clean in this weather.🙂

Supposed to get some, a bit of Lake Effect snow this weekend then very cold early next week.  Today was nice, 34 and sunny..had a bit of melting. Ran my Jeep through the car wash to get the salt off before the next round.

Heard something on the skylights last night, looked outside, saw it dropped a billionth of an inch.  Now I have to clean the windshields again.  Nobody can push their weather to AZ?

It cannot snow here in Pennsylvania (about an hr west of Philly)  because I just paid to have my snow blower serviced!  So far we've had two 1" or so coverings that melted off hard surfaces before needing to be shoveled.

We are supposed to see some snow Sunday into Monday, lets see what happens!

Another day in Bakersfield California, that was approaching 70 Deg.Clear Blue Sky, and driving around in the car, I had to turn on the A/C.

Glad there will be no snow here.

Oh my God😱 it must be the end of the world. The supermarket is packed this morning, men walking around like deer in the headlights. Shopping list in one hand, cell phone in the other. Wife directing them remotely to necessary provisions (you didn’t know they were remote controlled did you). Milk is in the back where the refrigerators are.  TP, where is the TP? Shouldn’t that be near the restrooms? Is it the end of the world? Should I start praying?

No, just some more snow coming today, 5-7”   🙄

Well gee I've been grocery shopping my entire adult life, and the only time I have "the deer in The headlights " look is when the store does a complete reset that changes every thing isle wise around. Wal Mart done it about 4 years ago and Meijer's in Lima Ohio just reset the whole store last year!

There is a big difference between someone who has gone grocery shopping there whole life and someone who doesn't shop regularly and  is sent out on a mission they are not prepared for.

Not really, I was married twice and yet still I was the main person to go buy the groceries. It's like saying "most" men never had to buy food for their selves,  Then again When I went to school our classes 7th and 8th grade were two semesters of Home economics, and shop classes. And the Girls also switched for those two 9 weeks. In High school it was a selected class, And I was the only guy in my class to do Home ec!

I've been shopping for my own and the families groceries for almost 40 Years. 10 Years as a Bachelor, and 30 Married.  There is really nothing to it. Follow the list, and make substitutions based on Pricing, Sales, & What's available.

Those "Deer/Headlights" guys are like that because their wives do not want groceries, they want "Exactly what they want", and there is also a control issue.  This over-pickyness is running rampant, nowadays, and I'm afraid there is no cure for it.

The Whole Shopping Dynamic, is pictured perfectly in the movie, "Christmas with the Kranks".

Well fellas, we got snow in the forecast again, so I gotta stock up on stuff to make milk-and-toilet-paper-sandwiches afore it's all gone.

I'm set for a few days on groceries and dog food.  It's not the snow, but the cold that I'm not looking forward to...low single digits the next 3 days.

Snow coming down heavy now...got to roll out the trash bins later, don't want to go out in the morning when it's in the single digits..still low 20s now.

No trash collection here tomorrow because of the holiday.

Unfortunately, not here. They only delay trash collection on 1/2 dozen holidays through the year.  Rolled them out a little while ago...will roll them back in about 24 hours..

We are up to about 5” and the plow is just going through now.  Been snowing since 1PM and supposed to continue until tomorrow morning

Got about 3-5 inches fresh this afternoon on top of the 5 or so that was already there... it was a rain/snow mix this morning, so icy under the new snow...my plow guy was here about an hour ago, cleared the driveway and up to the garage..moved my Jeep after his first pass so he could get the full width of the driveway near the garage (there is about a 30 x 60ft section in front of the garage, then maybe 20 x 200ft out to street).   Should be no more snow in the next few days, but the 3 days will be around 0F at night and under 10F daytime..ugh..looking forward to February..

Our school called it foods & nutrition. To a teenage guy, it was perfect... a roomful of girls and Food !

... and then you still had mechanics and drafting classes to look forward to   ^_^
