StevenGuthmiller Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I had the opportunity to enter an online contest for the Fine Scale Modeler magazine's BAMM, (Build A Model Month), and subsequently won first place in the automotive/motorcycle category. Prizes included a one year subscription to the magazine, a $50.00 gift card for the "Trains.com" store, and an appearance of my model in a future issue of the magazine. That required that I take some more photos of my '64 Bonneville, so I thought I could just as well post those here as well. Enjoy folks! As always, any comments or criticisms are welcome. Steve 26 3
bbowser Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Exceptional work Steve. Awards are well deserved. Did you do the Bonneville scripts with the BMF under the paint method? They look so crisp.

rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Over the top. Wondering about the source for the convertible top displayed in the raised position. Perfect model car.

Perfect model car. The up top was modified from an old AMT 1962 Buick Electra convertible kit to fit the Bonneville. Steve

Steve Thanks for that. I looks perfect. My parents bought a new 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. I took my driver's test in it. Our neighbor had a new 1964 Bonneville similar to your model. Big fan here. Your builds bring back good memories!
