I had the opportunity to enter an online contest for the Fine Scale Modeler magazine's BAMM, (Build A Model Month), and subsequently won first place in the automotive/motorcycle category. :)

Prizes included a one year subscription to the magazine, a $50.00 gift card for the "Trains.com" store, and an appearance of my model in a future issue of the magazine.

That required that I take some more photos of my '64 Bonneville, so I thought I could just as well post those here as well.

Enjoy folks!

As always, any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Exceptional work Steve.  Awards are well deserved.  Did you do the Bonneville scripts with the BMF under the paint method?  They look so crisp.

Over the top. Wondering about the source for the convertible top displayed in the raised position. Perfect model car.

The up top was modified from an old AMT 1962 Buick Electra convertible kit to fit the Bonneville.

Thanks for that. I looks perfect. My parents bought a new 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. I took my driver's test in it. Our neighbor had a new 1964 Bonneville similar to your model. Big fan here. Your builds bring back good memories!

As someone who also battles the challenges of replica building. I can attest to to the challenges of replicating. Your amazing fit and finish, scratch building, proper scale, and attention to detail are not lost on me !

Outstanding workmanship and attention to detail.  Your builds are always a delight to see and marvel at.  Thanks for sharing.
