TopherMcGinnis Posted February 18 Posted February 18 @Bullybeef! Your Squirrels got loose in MY Noggin! Since I'm at somewhat of a "brain still" with S'LOW, this guy crawled across my noodle this weekend. I thought it'd be a "quick" build. Ya know, Mickey T tires, olive Drab hues, and maybe kickin' up a little mud. I see a suspension lift is in need right off the bat..... 4 2
espo Posted February 18 Posted February 18 You would really have to turn up the radio with those tires out on the highway. Likes it. 1

TopherMcGinnis Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 Ive got a couple Chevrolet grilles. I was going to open the GMC grille, but Boy is it thick! 3
TopherMcGinnis Posted April 15 Author Posted April 15 Got some primer on SWAMPY this evening. Aaaaaaand another Squirrely Distraction 😁 4
TopherMcGinnis Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Got Tamiya Olive Drab on the truck today. I painted the tires with Mission Models tire black and Alclad Gold Titanium on the wheels. Once it's together there will be copious amounts of mud thrown on it. 3
TopherMcGinnis Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 (edited) Now all we need to do is kick up some mud on this Dude! Edited May 25 by TopherMcGinnis Image 3
TopherMcGinnis Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 Making slow progress. I painted SWAMPY just like a couple of drunk buddies on a Saturday night-liquor and paint slangin- EVERYTHING is Olive Drab! I plan on covering most of it with mud anyways, but I want the engine to look oily too. I used Tamiya Panel Line Accent black and painted it over the engine. Looks pretty dang good to me! I've got some Valejo muds to use for muddy detail. This is pretty fun! Looks like someone forgot to roll up the windows on the 1st pass. 4
TopherMcGinnis Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Getting closer to putting mud all over this guy. Built some new shocks, put on a few decals. The stars are dry transfer and didn't do well with the rough paint. That's fine. Most of it will be covered in mud anyways 😁 2
slusher Posted Tuesday at 03:16 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:16 AM Looks good but interior looks like it needs another coat.. 1
