Thanks Ed, I find all your parts to be top shelf. IMO, the AMT 34 Ford is overlooked quite often. But is like the AMT 40 Ford. Nice kits to bash a nice model. I also feel the 34 Ford in general doesn’t receive the attention that 32’s do, both in 1:1 and scale. As far as complaints go, we all need thick skin in this hobby.
Here is a little cold evening update. I added some ribs to the firewall area. IMG_9592.jpeg.77f5b5602bd9ee652a9fc770c3bedf4e.jpeg
and then made up my own headlight mounts. Loosely mocked up of course.

As a side note: I believe I found a good use for the printed wheels. Model Haus tires mounted….IMG_9622.jpeg.089390b0d6fd2f91f218f6320eaca3cd.jpeg

Great looking build James. And those wheels DO look fantastic, also like the mock up with the wire wheels, looks like you found a good home for them.

Looking Terrific Rooster 🐔 I like those wheels and tires! 🛞     Did you source the wheel and tires from the Rat Rod!

What’s the story on that body? Is it a resin one?

This is looking really good James. I love the wheel/tire combo and Poncho. Any thoughts on color yet?

I was referring to the 3 window in the foreground!

And yes, inquiring minds want to know about the 3W. Looks older, like possibly Mill City or Ron Cash?

The ole 34 Ford is going to look pretty sharp with those wheels Rooster.

Well I did do some more today. Chassis is assembled, engine is wired and installed. Still need to add fuel lines, paint the interior and finish final body work before paint.

Well I miscalculated the wishbone and had to switch to some hairpin braces. I also got the exhaust made and installed along with some fuel lines. IMG_9699.jpeg.79f52733dcee3e6a33058c4e3739de82.jpegIMG_9697.jpeg.cd6429339168bcb54fda1169f159a404.jpegIMG_9698.jpeg.b6989e6312909aee113d182be85e96a7.jpeg

Pretty nice weather yesterday so after work having pre-sanded the body over the weekend. I got things set up and spayed a little Seamist Green and 2x clear from Splash paints on the 34. Now to cure. The chassis should really pop now.

I couldn’t resist a quick test fit, obviously the roof and running boards are still primer.
