Though it's only 84F and 63% humidity, it feels more draining and miserable than usual today for some reason.

It's sunny 75F and 46% humidity, with a slight breeze.  Feels warmer.  Went out at 4 to run an errand.  A black car w/ black leather interior gets really warm sitting outside on such a day...

65 F and muggy. AND my big 18k AC unit bit the big one yesterday. I'm putting a window unit in until I find a replacement.

Still almost zero rain, we had 20 minutes last evening.

After 2 days of cooler and wetter weather than forecast, well on the way to forecast high temps. probably similar to what most of the country is getting.  Just one day with humidity under 50% would let me get a final color coat on a kit.

We are all praying for the "Monsoon" rains to start.  Several layers of clouds today, these Cirrus lit off tonight.  The prediction was for a wet season, totally wrong.

Just looked at thee NWS radar.

Kinda unusual that the precip is moving in from the east rather than the typical west-to-east movement.

Looks like we'll get some sprinklege early, high only around 90F.

So it'll be cooler in the shops. Whoopee !!!!!!!

I must be getting used to the hotter temps, as today's 90' F felt pretty good with the breeze that we had......... Me and Emmett pretty much stay in the shade, too, so that helps.

We had a couple of days with low humidity, a nice break. Still no real rain that we really need.

Besides the dead AC unit, we lost power yesterday for a few hours. I came inside for a beer... thought the 'fridge light burned out. Outside it was better than inside.

7 pm local time, 54 degrees F, 98% humidity on the Sonoma County, CA coast. Highs have been around 60 degrees F since we have been here.

Dogs and cats and even cows figured out it's cooler in the shade.

Here in the complex, there's a Bunch of nice trees that provide us shade...... The Bradfords are my favorite, but we have Dogwoods, Pecan trees, Live Oaks and the like! The Magnolias are especially nice when they are blooming.......

No rain, we are about 80% below a "normal" Monsoon by this time.  The half inch I got cools it down at night, it's 71ºF now.  Almost missed this sunset.

76 and still sticky out there. We went to the ocean yesterday for a few hours, a nice 10 minute ride. The water is warm and a tropical color.

Back home we hit the pool and had some drinks.

A good thunderstorm is moving through my area at the moment. It should cool some of of the high temperatures that we're having here in the Metro Boston area.

I’m on Long Island,and just about an hour ago,we had a HUGE thunderstorm roll through...Im standing at  my front door.First the wind blew the door open,then pulled it out of my hands and slammed it shut.It poured for like 20 mins.Thunder,and some very close lighting..CrAzY😧Then it got hotter out,and now it’s sunny out.We needed the rain.

Was just a little chilly taking succulent cuttings a few minutes in shorts, flip-flops, and a tank top. Cold wet wind blowing.

'Twas 94 outside when I got home, about 80 in the house. Fine with a fan on low.

Now it's 79 outside, time to crank up the whole-house fan for the evening.

Forecast low 74, so it'll be nice and cool in here in the morning.

Did I mention my power bill in summer runs about 50 bucks a month?

Yeah, I know I did. I just like to rub it in.
