The weather has been much like 2023 when I moved in to this house...rainy, cool spring followed by a bit of sunny, hot and dry in early June (earlier this week) going back to rainy and overcast.   I did plant a few new boxwoods out front, have a rose bush and a few more plants to plant maybe this afternoon after work if it's not raining.

Humid, and another round of overnight storms.  Been pretty wet this month and it started roughly in April and ran through all of May, and here we are in June. I am glad for the lower temps and moisture, but I know the oven temps are soon to come. (Gotta love OK)

66 F and was foggy earlier. Yesterday hit around 82 and the humidity is creeping in.

I'm holding off on any more yard work to see if my poison ivy is spreading. So far I have a few minor spots to deal with.

The pool is finally warming up, about 72*.

.... So sick of rain!!!

Send us the excess. It did actually rain here a week back, weather guy said it was the first measurable rainfall for any June 1 in the metro area since 1914.

Man did it pour most of Saturday. We had some thunder too. Sunday early on was good, took the Belair to a local cruise. Then rain after 6 or so.

Today is cooler, not as humid and looks like rain... again

Yup it poured alright. What cruise night did u go to?Smithtown was dead on Sat,but again it was cause of the weather. There was a break in the rain,so I tried to head up to Stop and Shop,it was a ghost town.I had to go food shopping though anyway..Did u go to DPA,cause the info I got, they shut down DPA.I was going to hit the Smith haven mall Sunday morning, but since I was out till 3am, the night before,I was too tired to attend..Do u go to the mall? From what I heard the mall is getting huge, which I assume is taking a lot of people away from the OBI,and Capetree.🤷‍♂️

I hear conflicting info on DPA. It was on the small side and hellishly hot all summer.

There is a new one on 109 in West Babylon, south of Sunrise at a dead Shop Rite. I hear it pulls lots of cars so far.

OBI is gone, likely due to that double-fatality with the Cobra that got into the guard rail. Captree is 5 minutes from my house, 2 stop signs away. A good winter venue until they charge for parking.

Smith Haven was good. Very spread out and had an expen$ive food truck. We got there at 8, left close to 10:30.

I have to try Stop and Shop up by you soon.

105 Today at 4pm. Hot, Hot Hot all week.

Driving my little Camry with out A/C is a chore.

Steering wheel gets so hot I have to wear gloves. (yes, I have a silver windshield Thingie) It is not working.

I hate summer in Bakersfield. Well, it only lasts until Mid September.....

62 F and looks like rain... surprise! It poured yesterday for about an hour, overcast from there all day long.

This past week we've had days in the 90's down to the 70's and sunny. The nights drop to 48-50. Once I start wearing shorts I don't go back to pants so the mornings are pretty cold when I take the dogs out.

Looks like most of you guys think of temperature in Fahrenheit.      32 F being freezing.

Always found it difficult to visualise unlike Celsius where Zero degrees is freezing and 100 is  boiling temperature. A nice day to me would be about 18 to 22C.

Yesterday was nice, the afternoon was around 75. I put new side mirrors on the Belair and me and a buddy went to a cruise (Bellmore train station).

I get a text from my girlfriend who was about 45 miles north and east of us... it was pouring by her. Not a drop by us, everything was dry, but light rain now and 61.

People have been complaining about the weather in my area,  but we've only just broken a drought.  My town lifted its water restrictions only a week or so ago.  We didn't get .uch snow last season.
