Falcon Ranchero Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Couldn't seem to find if this was a real thread already, so here it is now. What are your Favourite Rims? Mine are the stock 1966 Charger Rims Do they make these rims in model 1/25 scale? 3
Chris V Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) I think the closest match you'll find in 1:25 scale is the wheels from AMT/Lindberg's 1966 Chevelle SS 396. Edited April 24 by Chris V

JollySipper Posted April 24 Posted April 24 That's an easy question for me! The Centerline Champ wheels are my favorite...... 3

Falcon Ranchero Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I also like Cragar Rims; like the ones on this '67 Beaumont look pretty cool. 6
stavanzer Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I've got Two. The first is for any American Hotrod. The Second is for Tuners, or Hot Hatches. 1. Centerlines, Auto Drag. 2. Borbet Type "O". 3

I had very similar anteras on before in 16x7.5 but i couldn't get it to sit how i wanted on them 1
TarheelRick Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I am old-school and prefer Cragars or Keystones from the late 60's era. 3
rattle can man Posted April 24 Posted April 24 It really depends on the car and build style. But I can say modern big wheels don't work for me at all. 5 1
iamsuperdan Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I have yet to find a vehicle that doesn't look better with a set of classic split rim BBS wheels. Be it the RS, the LM, or any of the others. A classic BBS mesh just works on everything. 10 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 Turns out my favourite '66 Dodge Charger rims are actually those hubcaps/faux rims. Though they do look extremely similar to the '66 Chevelle rims (which I think are actually rims not hubcaps though I could be wrong). All I'd need is a bigger Fratzog to put in the center and I could use those Chevelle rims on the '66 Charger. 1

StevenGuthmiller Posted April 24 Posted April 24 For aftermarket, Cragar S/S, no doubt. For stock rims, it’s a toss up between Magnums, or Pontiac Rally II. Steve 1

Bucky Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Wow! Great thread! My factory favorites are the Magnum 500 style, be it from Mopar, GM, or Ford. Next is the Mopar rally wheel from the Dart/Duster. My third favorite is probably the Oldsmobile super stock wheel that can be had in body color. I had those on a '74 Oldsmobile Omega S. My aftermarket wheel of choice is the Keystone Klassic. Second place goes to the Kelsey-Hayes wire spoke wheels. 2
tahiti7 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I've always liked the classic Cragars. But I like these also, Rota RBs (a Minilite style wheel). The BBSs are awesome also, I would just hate to have to clean them though. 2
Little Timmy Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) American Mags. Nuff said . ( they don't crack like Cragers do ... oops, ... did I just say that ? ) Edited April 24 by Little Timmy I had to 1
webestang Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Love those "Jelly Bean" mags....... But I also love the "Turbines" on my 88....... 4
