James2 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) New project started, Plastic Undercover theme build. Starting with the Revell Bronco and VCG Resin 3” lift kit. Let’s see where this goes. Josh makes some wonderful pieces and communicates well, he always kept me updated. Edited May 4 by James2 3
TopherMcGinnis Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Thats a good kit. I had a little trouble with the windshield frame. I should've fit the top in place, then put the windshield frame in place prior to gluing it. 1

I had a few minutes today so I started cleaning up the chassis and filling the front of the frame rails.
James2 Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Still filling the frame rails and trying a different fuel system. I repositioned the air intake to clear the hood. 3
James2 Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 (edited) Getting some things fabbed up, sorted and cleaned up. The VCG resin pieces fit nicely. I made the new roll bars and drive shafts from Evergreen styrene. Most parts are primed and ready for paint. Waiting on fender flares to work on the body. I did glue the windshield frame in place using the top as a guide. Edited May 18 by James2 4

James2 Posted May 31 Author Posted May 31 Working on hood supports and chassis assembly. I’ll need to use brass rod for the support the styrene gives to much. Chassis detail to follow…. 1
