yellowsportwagon Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Pretty much out of the box with the exception of the rear spoiler and 3D print wheels. Nice kit but it did not want ME to build it. Nothing but dumb problems. But I got through it. 18
satterwhite78 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Built a Revell Firebird sometime back, nice kit but it was on the same stress level as the Revell 69 Camaro when trying to assemble the chassis into the body along with the interior. Sharp looking ride ya got there...those rims and spoiler are eye grabbers!
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Very nice. I don't remember any problems building my two.
STU111 Posted Friday at 04:37 AM Posted Friday at 04:37 AM That is a really good looking Firebird. Beautiful colour, the wheels, lots to like about this one. 👍🏻
TransAmMike Posted Saturday at 09:13 PM Posted Saturday at 09:13 PM Very good looking '68 ya got there Tim! 👍
Monty Posted Sunday at 02:59 AM Posted Sunday at 02:59 AM I'd never heard of this kit being problematic but you obviously overcame every obstacle you encountered. That is an amazing shade of red. Would you mind telling us which exact paint it was? (ex: Model Master #1619).
Koellefornia Kid Posted Sunday at 09:30 AM Posted Sunday at 09:30 AM Great paint and finish! Some very nice Rims and stance!
catpack68 Posted Sunday at 02:32 PM Posted Sunday at 02:32 PM (edited) Very nice work Tim! One of the best builds I’ve ever seen from that kit. Your Firebird reminds me to get back to work on the one thats been hanging around my workbench. Edited Sunday at 02:33 PM by catpack68
espo Posted Sunday at 05:55 PM Posted Sunday at 05:55 PM Great looking paint color and finish. Like the looks of the Camaro style spoiler better than what Pontiac offered at the time. Nice wheels and stance.
