Looks like something you could see in Canada, but not the USA.

Eager to see this one hit the shelves.

Thanks for the Preview.

So, is it 1/24 or 1/20 scale? My German is very rusty… 😂
Looks like a greet kit. Hopefully it’s 1/24 so it would suit bring a load etc.  cheers

Well, the last picture of the tractor also shows both a box corner and a product label clearly saying "1:24", so I don't think much German is required... This is intended to sit alongside the existing Porsche and Deutz tractors, both of which are 1/24. I just wish they'd add one of the classic Lamborghini tractors to the range (not the modern one Clarkson bought which looks like every other modern tractor...)

best,

M.

How many Tractors has Revell Germany brought out now. At least 2 older, and is this the Second Modern Tractor?

porsche junior, deutz d30, and the fendt are the only ones i mind on. this one was announced a year or more back though, and heller have been doing tractors too. theres also a load from miniart if you want a more challenging kit tha the grey fergies

https://revell.de/en/shop/product/078279090-fendt-728-vario-tractor-easy-click?srsltid=AfmBOoqw5pRjM3bBBjGFSwca08jrlJWsyu2VPAG82kCq50juoGnvdMku

All the dimensions in the main page above scale out within a reasonable margin of error to 1/24 of the real thing: "With a final size of 235 mm in length, 110 mm in width and 137 mm in height, you will experience the engineering of the original on a scale of 1:24." The kit dimensions on the right (different from the body copy) are roughly 1:20, but the scale in the same panel shows 1/24

I guess we just have to wait and see whether the one the German reviewer has hold of is actually the same thing as the commercial public release under the Revell brand. It wouldn't be the first time a model manufacturer has produced a promo for a company distinct from the widely available retail version for the public.

It would be really odd to suddenly make one tractor in the whole series a different scale from the rest of the range... wouldn't it? Especially if you have been telling your retailers and customers something different for months...

best,

M.

Hey @Luc Janssens,  I think you typo'd the title, its 728 😉

Oops! Must be getting old 😉

Thanks for the heads up, I've corrected it now.

Cheers, Luc.

Its sold here in the USA.

Yup, they even have some sort of office or warehouse facility that is maybe about 10 minutes from me in the Chicago Suburbs!

Did a double take when I saw the sign for the first time either last year or earlier this year.

It's a great looking kit but at over $200 retail list in Canada it  will be staying on the shelves...well some one else can have mine!

Now, I want one....

Make a great Lowboy Trailer load.

Ah, if only the old ERTL International 1466, John-Deere 4430 and Massey-Ferguson 1155 1/25 model kit tractors were to be avaiiable again!

The John-Deere tractor, along with the John-Deere backhoe were last available around 2001.

I believe that the molds for all of them are still the property of ERTL?

That is my understanding also.

I wish Round2 and ERTL could make a leasing agreement and run some of those Tractors again. 25 years is too long with out them.

Fiat owns Case IH and New Holland.   AGCO owns Massey and Fendt in US.

the tractor clarkson should have bought

It's funny. As soon as I saw this, I immediately thought they should get on board with a Clarkson special edition, much like the Stranger Things kits they have.

Could do a series. A Lambo or two, Kaleb's Klaas, the chrome Massey, etc.

i had a thought on the scale. most of the bruder farm toys are about 1/20 and they are quite popular with kids

Bruder are 1/16
