Andrew McD Posted July 8 Posted July 8 The Revell '32 Ford Roadster. Painted Testors Wet Look Graphite Dust and cleared with Testors Wet Look Clear. The blower got a light coat of Tamiya Titanium Gold followed by a coat of Tamiya Smoke. The wheels, headlight/front shock assemblies, exhaust headers, windshield, and air cleaners all got a coat of Tamiya x-19 Smoke over the chrome. Wired distributor from Greg's Scale models and I even wired in the correct firing order!:) Seat and door cards are Tamiya XF-82 Ocean Grey 2 and Tamiya XF-24 Dark Grey for a two tone interior. Radiator support rods cut from piano wire. A fun build. I have another in the stash which I'm imagining as a dry lakes/salt flats racer; we'll see how that idea develops. 17

Dragline Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Never enough duece's.. I like a squared off windshield instead of a Duvall. But that is simply a matter of preference. Unassuming paint choice allows it to blend a bit in a sea of reds and bright primary or candy colors. I dig it.

I didn't have too much difficulty with the glass but I now see there is some space between the windshield frame and the body.

I thought the front fenders were a nice touch but frankly they were something of a pain to mount. Look forward to seeing what you do with this kit.
