The only differences through the years other than a minor body character line are the grill, bumpers and taillights. I would think someone might 3D print some different year stuff.

Also, the license plate box.. I did most of that on my latest build, but the hardest part was doing the dash. Its not great, but itll work 

Few Sprues Loose on ebay has most of the grilles and bumpers, they're really nice. I'm pushing him to make dashes too. The grille on mines is an older TX3d one

Canuck 3-D makes a couple. Looks like the '79 /'80 in round and square headlight versions.

Too bad this is the same body/ year as the AMT. Would've been nice to have an 80s, or shorty with stock body, but spotlight on any van kits is nice. I'll definitely have to add to the collection 

I owned one too ('74 Chevy G10 Contempo conversion) and almost owned a '77 GMC Rally Wagon 1-ton work van and a couple different Dodge vans at different times. Am semi serious about replacing my Subaru with a '95 E250 Glaval conversion van too. This is a nice example that custom builders/painters will eat up like, well, "free candy". The AMT kit is a '71-'72 and this looks like a '73-'75 GMC VanDura which there are no good replicas of.

'71-'72, '73-75 and '76-77 G-van dashes are all different as well. Doghouse covers vary in size between inline six or V8 or Oldsmobile 350 Diesel vans iirc.

The brown one in my other picture is wrecked in the front and the engine and transmission have been removed. I tried to get decent pictures of the sheet metal unibody frame. You can see it separating from the accident just above the crossmember in the first pic.

This kit and it’s design looks fantastic and suits me perfectly, except for the hole in the roof, but every build needs at least one challenge.

I like the look of this, but I still have 4 amt Chevy Vans in my collection to build. From what I see, I can correct the foible in the grill position,  and fill in the holes in the body. I like the opening doors. I hope the US version is moulded in white styrene instead of blue. 

I believe the Texas 3D or various Canuck 3D grilles can fit with a little modification of the body. I'm glad I bought several grilles, wheels, and Rally Wheel Sets before the Tariffs hit.

As of yet I'm undecided whether I find the grille over-dimensioned.

But I find the total lack of chrome decidedly meh, that much I know.
Or do they do this to push sales of their overpriced chrome spray?
If yes, I admire such shrewd business acumen.

The full interior panels too, even though they would get covered up by the cabinets on this version
