rastta Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I have to say - I really enjoyed this kit. Again, all paints Tamiya Lacquer. Custom decals made for the seats and interior colors were a blend that I made. Other than that pretty much a box stock build. 20
mcs1056 Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I REALLY like your build. Not normally a fan of lots of paint stripes, yours is tastefully done. I also dig the seat upholstery. Was the stitching outside of the "fabric" something you added? I'm kinda bummed, as I recently traded a Starliner to a member here. I do still have a shell, so maybe I can hack something together starting with it. That, or I buy another and click GO. 1
Kanada Kustoms Posted October 14 Posted October 14 (edited) Cool build... I love the scallops! Edited Thursday at 04:50 PM by Kanada Kustoms 1
Chuckyg1 Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Yeah it really is a nice kit to build. The interior is awesome. The paint and striping is awesome. Restrained but tasteful. Nice! 1
XYHARRY Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I've been thinking of how to build my Starliner for years, your build has inspired me on what is possible. Really well done Joe. 1
drodg Posted October 15 Posted October 15 That is a great build. I don't normally like customs but I love that. 1

Thanks for the compliment - I'm a huge fan of scallops and was happy I found a color combo that worked well with the ones included in the kit.
papajohn97 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Very nice early 60's period custom, Larry Watson would approve! I also really like the interior with those custom fabric pattern decals. Nice job! 1
carrucha Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Cool boulevard custom cruiser. Nice color combo. Good job on the interior. 1

Geno Posted Friday at 07:17 PM Posted Friday at 07:17 PM I really dig the '60 Ford. Your build of this kit is perfection. Congrats on a stunning build.💯👍 2
Dragline Posted Friday at 09:19 PM Posted Friday at 09:19 PM I love this kit! Just what is in the box is enough to make it street, stock or custom. The custom might require a bit more. Your build is so awesome brother. Those lake pipes and wheels just work. 2
DoctorLarry Posted Saturday at 02:40 PM Posted Saturday at 02:40 PM Very nice and would look good in an LA lowrider scene.. 1
