baycolony Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Out of box Revell build painted with "Scale Finishes" Chevrolet "Jetstream Blue." Gravity colors "Carbon Fiber black" was used for the carbon fiber accents. All was clear coated with decanted UPOL clear and polished. I also adjusted the ride height. 22
Roger U Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Really nice looking model. A clean build and beautiful paint.
Jim Whalen Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Nice model of the Revell C6 Corvette. I've got one that is ready for paint - after looking at yours I'll have a look at adjusting the ride height as well.
Funkychiken Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Fantastically sharp and clean build, body colour and finish looks great!

Ragtop Man Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM What did you do to get the perfect sit on this? Just needs a "Boomer Board" to be 100% shrink ray! Really nice, IMO like the C/6 and 7 better than the 8.

Thanks, and to answer your question, instead of gluing the rotors to the keyed hubs, I glued them to the back of the wheels, ground down the embossed keyed plastic on the hubs, drilled a vertical slot in each hub in order to be able to adjust the height, and just glued the wheel with the rotor to each hub at the required height.
