Cal Tracs are next. Plan on removing the rear mounts and pivot plates, clean them up and using them on the Nova leaf springs, which will be sanded down to a mono leaf. Transfer link and hardware will made up of RB Motion items. More to come.

Great looking engine in the previous post! Its too bad that stock eliminator cars are forced to use stock intakes and carbs..cause a painted iron intake and quadrajet usually isnt what you think of when you think "performance" lol.  Where did you get those caltrac bars with leaf springs?  I bought some a few years ago from Ron Olsen when shapeways was still a thing..unfortunately I havent seen anyone else offer these from the aftermarket 3D printing world.

I got the leaf springs sanded down. Surgery on Cal Tracs next,. Also I have to get tire and wheel combo picked out.

Just for your information, the amt pp008 Goodyear blue streak 9.00x15 slicks are the correct 9” scale rear slicks.  Unfortunately, they are a little harder to find nowadays.

I look forward to your updates Dennis especially the Cal Trac set up as we only used Lakewood slapper bars on our 67 and 68 F/Stock Camaros back in the day.

Holley fuel pressure regulator with bracket. Played around with a shift light, gonna redo the bulb. Starting on the suspension next. I still haven't decided on a color yet. and I know that's holding the build up.

All AN fittings and hardware are from RB Motion. AN fittings come anodized. Looks like his website is still down, I don't know if he's ever going to continue to produce those awesome products.

As a Stock Eliminator racer in 1:1 scale, it's always nice to see a Stocker being built, and especially when it's being built as well as this one! And I don't only mean your very nice and clean work with all of the sub-assemblies, but also the fact that this car looks like it would pass NHRA tech no problem and be competitive.

Really nice work, I'll be watching the progress.B)

Did some test fitting, redrilling and sanding on the pivot plates and rear mount. Little more clean up left to do. Got the tire wheel combo picked out, it's my second choice set up, but it will look good. No luck so far finding the AMT 9.00 x 15  slicks, so I may have to use an alterative tire. Made a new bulb for the shift light.

I’ve been checking it, almost, daily. I sure hope he gets it back up.

Thank you Dennis for all the effort you're putting into posting this WIP. So far it's a masterclass in 1/25 car model detailing. And your close-up photos are incredible (DSLR or cell phone camera?).

What did you use for the alternator belt? I'll need to find something I can use on my current build, a '68 HEMI Dart Super Stock car. The aftermarket HEMI that I'm going to use doesn't include one, and I come up with nothing trying to find something online.
