cruz Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Didn't have a digital camera when I did this about 6 years ago so I decided to post it this time. Just want to be active before deciding on my next build. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

58 Impala Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 That's definitely an oldtime cruiser. Nice job.

Eshaver Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Marcos, I wish you could have been around in North Texas years ago as Dr A M Pate founder of the Texas Oil refinery products company and founder of the origional Pate swap meet had a meuseuem on his estate . On it , he had a beautiful V- 16 Cadillac engine on diplay next to a 1932 Cadillac tourer with a 16 cylinder engine as well. I would go there and marvell as to the unique exibits he had on display . We lost a true leader in the automotive field when he passed away . I have no idea what happened to the exibits but I can only hope that they are appreated as they were in his meuseuem . Your car would certainly fit well within the library of his home ........... Ed Shaver

Bernard Kron Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Beautiful build of a beautiful and interesting car. The wheels and strakes along the bottom of the front fenders are very modern for 1933. It must have been a striking design in its day.
BigGary Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I wonder if the AMt Parts Pak Allison V-12 would fit in there? Gary
cotto Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 WOW that Black color is miles deep man, I can even see the Wal-Mart from here No need for a GPS to find your house
John E. Bowers Jr. Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Another absolutly beautiful build, Marcos! I have a 1931 Rolls Royce Phantom II from the old Monogram "Museum Piece" series that I wanna get to, but I have to get a couple off the bench & onto the shelf first. Great job, man.
Zoom Zoom Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Nice build of the Al Jolson Cadillac It's a neat kit, the 1:1 is still around at the National Auto Museum in Reno (formerly Harrahs). Last time I saw it was at Pebble Beach in 2000.
george 53 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Marcos before they razed the Cadillac Main Plant on Clark Street, here in deeetroit, they had one of these bad boys on display in the lobby, along with a 53 Fleetwood Limo,an the last Cadillac Eldorado Convertable. Man that car was HUGE, I swear it was EASY 20 ft long! Beautiful build of an equally beautiful car!!!!
meaneyme Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Hey Cruz, I just can't believe this, I just won this kit at a raffle in a toy show today, just like you told me, the chrome tree is just gorgeous on it. How well did it go together? I might just be contacting you to see if you can paint it for me, I will PM you later ok.

Some chrome parts are pretty fragile so just make sure you put a light touch when installing them, other than that I think you will like it.
