lonewolf01 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 im going with model. the body looks tweaked
george 53 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I gotta go with MODEL. Probably Otaki's 1/12 scale Firebird. It sits TOO high to have any weight to it. Again, I say, MODEL.
69*Goat Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I don' t know...... I have a good friend that owns a Buccaneer Red 73' SD T/A. This one has the wrong wheels on it, and it sits too high. I am going to have to study it some more...
ricky12 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Boy oh boy this one is tough but some thing just dont look right so i had to go with model also . we will see on friday .hay dan that limb look way to flemsy for me to climb out there with you.
FujimiLover Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I'll say real. Reflections on the paint, window details, look's good.
Pete J. Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Too many little things add up to model for me. Mostly it is the tires in the wheel wells that don't look right. That and the taillights look more like a model. Very nice photo with the proper reflections by I am saying it is a model.
Harry P. Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 I say the house is definitely real! Yup, the house is real!
ABC Auto Industry Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 The only thing that could give this one away is that the pavement looks fake. Other than that, it looks real. Either way, it's a darn cool car.
horsepower Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Probably wrong, but this looks a lot like the Monogram 1/8 scale kit, so I'll say model.
Roger U Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 OK, the house is real, the flower in front of the car is fake, the car itself is a bit trickier. It looks quite real but some things, as pointed out by others, say model so that's my vote.
george 53 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Probably wrong, but this looks a lot like the Monogram 1/8 scale kit, so I'll say model. Monograms 1/8th model is a 79/81 model, Thats a 70 /73 Firebird.
Zoom Zoom Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) Monograms 1/8th model is a 79/81 model, Thats a 70 /73 Firebird. They'd sell a boatload more of them if they revised the 1/8 turd-brown Turbo Trans Am kit to an SD or even a '70.5 T/A. I don't let all the peculiarities throw me...there's plenty of evidence that screams "real" for me. Edited December 7, 2009 by Zoom Zoom
horsepower Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Monograms 1/8th model is a 79/81 model, Thats a 70 /73 Firebird. Thanks, for the correction, but I said it looks "like",not is it , I should have said it has that "model" look to it. Thanks, Del
Jon Cole Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 This is a tough one. I voted "real", but I think the driveway has been manipulated. It's like a message board moderator with art and photoshop experience found the perfect photo!
Rider Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Real, there are a number of little things that point to real for me.
kelson Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Looks like a mixture of real parts and model parts,so i'll say 'model'.
Guest Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I love this, lol. In this day and age so many things in a photo can be manipulated. I am saying real.
disabled modeler Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Got me stumped, if its not real its a heck of a job on the model.
Joe Handley Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I'm going to have to say real, unless it's for the flower, which is totally fake
Harry P. Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 I'm going to have to say real, unless it's for the flower, which is totally fake Ok, I admit the "flower" is a lawn ornament.
