Greg Cullinan Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Can't really tell either way so let me be the first real vote. Real
sjordan2 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 The shadow under the car is too dark to see the oil leakage, but I'll say real anyway.
Pete J. Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hey, its a Morgan! and judging from the crappy fit on everything it has got to be real. What is with the bent bumper override? I can't see a self respecting modeler building one that poorly. But then I suppose if the modeler were trying to do a realistic British car from the era, they would have to do it blindfolded. Nice choice Harry, crappy model or crappy car!
mr moto Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) This a tough one. It looks kinda like a real car on a fake background. Maybe it's a 1:1 diorama! It's a good thing that this isn't an Auto ID. We'd never pin down the year on that thing! Edited August 30, 2010 by mr moto
ABC Auto Industry Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Yeah, the background looks phony, so I vote "model".
horsepower Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Yeah, the background looks phony, so I vote "model". Remember, the "Honorable" Harry has been known to photo shop different backgrounds just to throw us a curve now & then when the original background is a dead give away .
horsepower Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Methinks that this one is a model, even with the bent bumper guard.
MikeMc Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I want to meet the modeler that can ding that overide
Harry P. Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 I want to meet the modeler that can ding that overide;) Or glue it on crooked, maybe???
Stang67 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 It's a model but...It's been placed in there. "I know noth'n"
Joe Handley Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I'm going with Model here too, it just doesn't look right.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) I say Real due to afew things.. the tires looks rather real then a model and something in front of the tires caught my eye also that leads me to think the same as well. Edited August 31, 2010 by m0parman
Guest Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Not that it has ever helped me, but gut level feeling, model.
highway Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I think this is probably another one of Harry's 1/8 scale tricks. Hopefully he didn't fool me again, but I say model.
Harry P. Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 Harry - Are you pulling still pics from Youtube videos now? because that's about the quality of this picture..... A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!
MikeMc Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I'm going "it's so fake looking it has to be real." I think any picture that strange looking has to be a real car that Harry found to fool us.
