DRG Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I will have to mark that color down, I really like it. A really great, clean build.
Blake Rogers Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 great work buddy i love it flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raul_Perez Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Another GREAT build, Marcos!! Wow, that color is BRIGHT!! Thanks for sharing,
diymirage Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 one of the nicest renditions of a great subject 2 thumbs up
cruz Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 No windshield wipers??? No wipers my friend, if the client wants them, it will be an extra charge..... Kit does not bring them anyway, can you believe it?
ewaskew Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Looks good man nice and clean Smooth paint job
Crazy Ed Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Excellent job Cruz. That Paint is like Glass. No wipers my friend, if the client wants them, it will be an extra charge..... Kit does not bring them anyway, can you believe it? Must be the Demo Car for Rain-X Ed
Zoom Zoom Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Looks great; the poverty caps and old MPC tires suit it well. Revell does seem to have an aversion to wipers at times...IIRC the '72 Cutlass is missing them as well?
Harry P. Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Isn't it weird how the kitmakers sometimes miss such obvious details??? Doesn't anyone "proofread" before they go into production???
Jon Cole Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 REAL nice build! Ditto on what's up with the omission of basic parts on relatively new tooling, such as rear view mirrors, and wipers?
Brett Barrow Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Great build-up. I'd like to take a crack at this kit one day. I can see why Revell left out the wipers, they would interfere with the gaping hood hinge slots!
John Teresi Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Marcos......what a beautiful build......that color is AWESOME!!!!!........very well done indeed!
cruz Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 By the way, the poverty caps and wheels were handed to me and taken from the Revell '68 Charger, they do not come in this kit....
crazyjim Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Terrific looking build. So nice and shiny.
W-409 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 That paintjob is so nice! Shiney and smoooth! Detailing is super, as always and that car looks like 1:1 on the pictures! Very good job, this is very nice looking Challenger, keep on building these, I say!!!
Bruno Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 As always Cruz, very nice and clean build! Bravo
Mr. Moparman Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 By the way, the poverty caps and wheels were handed to me and taken from the Revell '68 Charger, they do not come in this kit.... I knew that.
David G. Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Very nice detail, cool color, very well done!
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 IMPRESSIVE! I'm not that keen on the color but the assembly is flawless. That earned ya an attaboy!!!
slant6 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Love it! Ive always thought that color looked great on these cars! A little off topic, but I wanna try it myself, how do you do the "overspray" effect on the undercarriage?
cruz Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 Love it! Ive always thought that color looked great on these cars! A little off topic, but I wanna try it myself, how do you do the "overspray" effect on the undercarriage? Thanks for all your replies my friends! Will, the overspray was done using my airbrush, I just slant the chassis sideways and just concentrate on hitting the edges, the overspray happens all by itself. It's a lot easier to control and do this step using the airbrush....
