maltsr Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 This is a recent build before I joined the forum. Paint is Tamiya rattlecan, Dark Blue Metallic over Blue/Violet. The build is box stock except for plug wires and scratchbuilt sidetrim. Thanks for looking.
Erik Smith Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Smooth all the way around. Don't you like kits that look great out of the box? You did a great job on the paint. Nice build!

93Z34 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 That Merc is one sweet looking ride. You did a fantastic job on that car! This kit is easily one of my favorite kits. I'm in the process of adding the final touches to my first attempt at this kit myself. I absolutely love the way this kit goes together and the optiosn Revell made available to the builder with the optional custom pieces and so forth. You really did a great job on that car.

maltsr Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Thanks for the comments guys, it is much appreciated, especially considering some of the great builders there are on this site. The kit must take some of the credit though, it goes together really well and the fit of the hood is perfect.
W-409 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 PERFECT! AMazing job on the Mercury, paintjob is simply perfect. So shiny and smooth. Nice, absolutely stunning, I'm speechless!
