The picture that Rob posted, really matches to my feelings. Absolutely incredible job with the engine! Air cleaner looks real, and detail is fantastic!

One question: Is that perf-plate on the air cleaner I.D. an aftermarket item, or did you set your elves up with a drill press?

Mostly I would say nice work..... BUT.... on the build I can't say "nice" as I would be lieing.... I have say this is a great build and I love the detail work that is put fourth so far in this project. Please keep the progress photos coming!

These pictures tell the story of the dedication to and love of details. What a great looking engine. It doesn't get more realistic looking than this.

Naw, I don't believe it.

He photoshopped the real deal onto a bottlecap, right?

He seriously did right?

It's the model for real?

######, I give up.

Freaking sensational man.

Hi Folks,

My thanks to all of who took the time to comment on this last update. :):) I read them several times during my sloooow progress on this build.

I have to thank one poster in particular, Fastback340 :D:D Your support keeps me going John, thanks my friend!!

A bit of progress on the engine compartment, made up a throtle linkage to conect up with the gas pedal, some flex tubing for the brake lines at the master clyinder, hooked up the heater hoses.

Also put this one up on wheels for the first time in a year :D These are not the final product, but they are the right size and will allow me to check the stance and figure out exhaust pipe clearence....

am using some HO scale turnbuckle castings to make some clevis ...
