Sixx Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Hey Randy...when do we get to go for a ride man!?? I'm ready to jump in!!!!
W-409 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 The picture that Rob posted, really matches to my feelings. Absolutely incredible job with the engine! Air cleaner looks real, and detail is fantastic!
Shardik Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 One question: Is that perf-plate on the air cleaner I.D. an aftermarket item, or did you set your elves up with a drill press?
MoparWoman Jamie Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Mostly I would say nice work..... BUT.... on the build I can't say "nice" as I would be lieing.... I have say this is a great build and I love the detail work that is put fourth so far in this project. Please keep the progress photos coming!

Dr. Cranky Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 more... These pictures tell the story of the dedication to and love of details. What a great looking engine. It doesn't get more realistic looking than this.
Agent G Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Naw, I don't believe it. He photoshopped the real deal onto a bottlecap, right? He seriously did right? It's the model for real? ######, I give up. Freaking sensational man. G
martinfan5 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I just looked at the last page, I see that engine, I look at the ###### that I build, I think its time to find a new hobby OMFrickingG, thats all I can think of

Randy D Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) Hi Folks, My thanks to all of who took the time to comment on this last update. I read them several times during my sloooow progress on this build. I have to thank one poster in particular, Fastback340 Your support keeps me going John, thanks my friend!! A bit of progress on the engine compartment, made up a throtle linkage to conect up with the gas pedal, some flex tubing for the brake lines at the master clyinder, hooked up the heater hoses. Also put this one up on wheels for the first time in a year These are not the final product, but they are the right size and will allow me to check the stance and figure out exhaust pipe clearence.... am using some HO scale turnbuckle castings to make some clevis ...
