mrmike Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 This is my completed '60 Starliner painted with Model Master Acalpulco Blue Metallic and Tamiya Racing White with a tu-tone blue interior.
Scalper Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 cool... you don't see these to often.. Like the blue paint.
charlie8575 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 This is another beauty of yours, Mike. Well done. Charlie Larkin
W-409 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 This one looks simply amazing. It was great to follow the WIP thread, and the finished product looks stunning. Paintjob is very great, and colors are nice. I like the combo of white and blue. Engine looks very good too, it doesn't matter if there are plug wires or no, that motor is so nicely done. Really great job you did with this one, makes me want to build one, but I have to buy one chassis from this model kit first. To another project...
GTMust Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 An awesome build, Mr Mike. By the way, did I say awesome? Tony
MrObsessive Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 That is a very clean super-duper job you did Mike! As I heard someone once say............."The 1960 Ford was the 1959 Chevy done right!"
bbowser Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Excellent foil job, nice interior. This one has it all for us '60's freaks!
crazyjim Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Great looking build, Mr Mike. Stick or automatic - looks like it's in gear.
kenlwest Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 She turned out great! I always thought the '60 Ford was a bit under-appreciated in it's time, but it holds its own as a true classic today. Nice Job! Ken
mrmike Posted June 4, 2011 Author Posted June 4, 2011 Thank you guys! I really do like this Starliner. It came out as I had hoped for. If I was to change anything, it would be to make the whitewalls a little wider.
John Teresi Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Mike......great job!!!!.......I have been thinking about getting this model.......You have inspired me to buy one........thank`s again.......VERY VERY nice build.

Sixties Sam Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 A great rendition of one of Ford's best! Great color scheme, and workmanship! Sam
