I live in CANADA, Winnipeg, so I need a Summer car, and a Winter SUV.

Fortunately, I have both!

I find it laughable that a Ferrari has an 85MPH speedometer. :D What a joke!  Silly '70s government regulations. I guess when driving a Ferrari you don't need to know how fast you're going.

My 87 Grand National was the same way. It was silly for sure.

Just bought this. 2011 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited with 169k. Just replaced the belt and tensioner today, and next Friday it's going to the shop to get an exhaust manifold replaced because I'm not screwing with that.

Otherwise, no problems besides cosmetic.

I wonder what kind of inverted-intellect logic-challenged gubmint official thought if the speedo didn't go over 70, nobody would drive that fast.

I guess if you can't see an indication of high speed, it ceases to exist.

Wait...I used "gubmint" and "logic" in the same sentence.

My most sincere apologies.

Not sure if I shared our daily driver before. We have an older version of this same vehicle but it has 250,000 miles on it and we wanted something with fewer miles. We bought this one last year about this time and immediately left on a 4500 mile trip to Florida. Last week we returned from a trip the other direction. We drove to Salt Lake City via Colorado and the car ate up the road. Here it is at Pike's Peak. We also have a pickup truck but it doesn't get much use anymore since we finished our house.
