I've always wanted to build a model of my dad's 1962 Ford F150.

This is one of the vehicles I learned to drive with back in the mid 60's.

I was finally acquired the very rare kit of this truck.

I added the following to the model truck to make it look like dad's:

a. bed rack

b. enclosed tool boxes in bed

c. western style mirrors

d. rear bumper

e. "necker nob" on steering wheel

My brother Dan sent me a photo of dad's truck to help my fading memory.

So here is the model paying tribute to my dad who passed in 2002

There was a tear in my Dad's eye when I handed him a model of his 37 Chevy. There will be one in your Dad's eye as well, you just won't see it. May he rest in peace and have plenty of gas money :)

Great looking truck, no one would expect any less from you.

Very nice replica of the original Curt, nice details and that ladder rack is sweet!

I am sure your Dad is looking down with approval!
