curt raitz Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I've always wanted to build a model of my dad's 1962 Ford F150. This is one of the vehicles I learned to drive with back in the mid 60's. I was finally acquired the very rare kit of this truck. I added the following to the model truck to make it look like dad's: a. bed rack b. enclosed tool boxes in bed c. western style mirrors d. rear bumper e. "necker nob" on steering wheel My brother Dan sent me a photo of dad's truck to help my fading memory. So here is the model paying tribute to my dad who passed in 2002 thanx for lookin'...

Alyn Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 There was a tear in my Dad's eye when I handed him a model of his 37 Chevy. There will be one in your Dad's eye as well, you just won't see it.
