Thor Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Hi I just finished this one last night. I started with the 1932 Ford (revell) and added engine and axles from a A Ford (early revell) parts box wheels and tires, different pieces of etch for linkage. scratch built aircleaners and tail lamps Tried to make it look like an early hot rod with the looks of an old car
Jantrix Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 MAN! That looks great! Very authentic. I love the 4-banger.
crazyjim Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Don't like rusty/crusty, but your build looks really good, Thor.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 The weathering is PERFECT. Nice details throughout. There's something subtle and beautiful about this build. The paint makes it look super realistic. Great job. Don't be shiny about posting a few more pictures from different angles. Thanks.
Greg Pugh Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Nice job on that weathering! Wow! Neat build!

Peter Lombardo Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Hey, that thing is a mess! Oh, sorry, that was the intention...I see, very well done, I don't build in this style, but I can appreciate it when you guys execute a "run down" hot rod like this. Nicely done.
Sixx Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Nice duece!!! Looks like real metal. I also like the carb linkage
rmvw guy Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Looks like real rust. I like the treatment on the wheels especially. The engine is eye candy for an old hot rodder. Nice work!

Sixties Sam Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Great build! Looks like a barn find hot rod that someone's grandfather might have built decades ago. Very realistic, and nicely done! Sam
